Then, Soumya Sarkar played a straight drive of sheer power which almost take off the non-striker, for a four. He followed it up with another four, this time pulling a short pitched delivery.
And it was all that he could. Ashish Nehra removed him. Hardik Pandya took an easy catch at mid-off.

With spin experiment done, Jasprit Bumrah replaced Ravichandran Ashwin. The 22-year-old manged to move the ball and some concern for Soumya Sarkar, who was heaving at every delivery.
Then, in the fifth delivery, India missed a run-out chance as the Bangladeshi openers ran for two against a possible single, with Ashwin fielding at mid-on.
