Bangladesh vs India Match Highlights Asia Cup Final 2016

Bangladesh vs India Match Highlights Asia Cup Final 2016, Bangladesh vs India Match Highlights Asia Cup Final 2016."Thanks to top-oder batsmen. They have done the bulk of the job, the lower order batsmen just go and do what is needed after that. It's looking very good now, we are on track for the World T20," Dhoni said at the post match presentation.

Dhoni said paceman Jasprit Bumrah and young all-rounder Hardik Pandya are making the side formidable.Jasprit, the beauty is that he can bowl yorkers, if you don't have the yorker you have to try a lot of other deliveries, his slightly different action also helps him a bit. Hardik can bowl a few overs for us, so if he can give us four in T20s, with his batting and fielding he is a great package," he said.Dhoni also praised Yuvraj Singh for adjusting well to his changed batting position.

"Looking at this team it is tough to give Yuvi the no.4 slot, but he has adjusted. We have 13-14 players they are all match-winners, that is the beauty of the side, everyone is taking responsibility to finishing the game."Australia chased down South Africa’s 204 to level the three-match T20 series 1-1 in Johannesburg on Sunday. But irrespective of which side wins Wednesday’s series decider in Cape Town, it will not be enough to dislodge India from the top, thus ensuring India will enter the World T20 as the number-one ranked side.
India, who won the inaugural event in South Africa in 2007 and finished runners-up in Bangladesh two years ago, are on 127 points, nine clear of 2012 winner West Indies and South Africa, who are on equal points (118).Chasing a lowly total of 83 against Pakistan, India’s batsmen did wobble, but the total was always too small to cause major anxiety. Against Bangladesh in the opener, the initial string of wickets did cause a flutter, but their bowlers could not quite deliver the finishing moves. A dropped catch of Rohit Sharma, who went on to score 83, by Shakib Al Hasan was a lucky break on which India rode to their first win in the tournament.

india were dominant in their win against Bangladesh in the final, chasing 121 with eight wickets in hand and seven balls to spare.Dhoni himself finished the match with a six off Amin Hossain and he said, the top order batsmen with their superb show is making it easy for the side.India on Monday sealed the numero uno spot in the ICC Twenty20 rankings after Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s side won the Asia Cup, and will now enter the World T20 as the top team.

India clinched the Asia Cup trophy after beating hosts Bangladesh by eight wickets in Mirpur on Sunday and strengthened their reputation as a favourite for the upcoming ICC World T20. Pakistan and Sri Lanka’s lack of fight made the Asia Cup an underwhelming affair. India and Bangladesh were the only two sides who looked to be competing. While Sri Lanka’s injury issues forced them to lay low, Pakistan’s internal friction once again appeared to have left the team overwhelmed.
For India, the return of Virat Kohli from a break worked well for the side, as the in-form batsman was a calming presence in the batting-order. His knocks against Pakistan, Sri Lanka and against Bangladesh in the final on Sunday, were vital and gave the batting line-up a solidity that none in the opposition could break. The series also saw Yuvraj Singh finally hitting some form and helping India check a final box that had been left blank since his inclusion in the World T20 squad. In hindsight, India were not presented with a major challenge by any of the two teams. Barring a few early wickets, and the tension leading from that, India were never on the ropes.

Bangladesh had limped to just 64 for 3 in the 10th over. Mushfiqur Rahim and Sabbir then tried to twirl their bats but a mixture of good fielding and poor running resutled in Mushfiqur being run out for 4. Mushfiqur put in a good dive and made his ground, but failed to ground his bat. He was run out with the bat over the iine but in the air. Mashrafe Mortaza promoted himself to bat ahead of the in-form Mahmudullah. If he hoped that emulating MS Dhoni in the 2011 World Cup would have a positive effect on the innings, he was proven wrong off his first ball. Mortaza tried to hit Jadeja over the fielder but only ended up holing out to Virat Kohli in the deep.
That was when Mahmudullah came in and played a game-changing innings. He got braces off each of his first two overs before finding the boundary. He then carted Hardik Pandya for two sixes and a four in his next over. It took a typically skilful final over from Bumrah to keep a rampaging Mahmudullah in check as Bangladesh finished 120 for 5.

Heavy downpour accompanied by thundershowers threatened to play spoilsport in the final of the Asia Cup T20 between Bangladesh and India. The much hyped grand finale saw an anti-climax of sorts when there was a slight drizzle in the beginning with groundsmen covering the pitch area.
However just as they had removed the covers, there was sudden thunderstorm, which saw the TV crew commentators and players sprinting to the confines of the shade with the heavy pitch cover being blown away.

With 35 matches spread over 27 days, starting with eight "minnows" battling it out for two spots in the Super 10 round, the tournament looks set to illustrate once again just how skewed the 20-overs game is against bowlers.

There is more chance of discovering life on Mars than in the docile Indian tracks, which will be rolled out for a tournament that concludes with the April 3 final at Kolkata's Eden Gardens. While cricket purists may look on it with disdain, there is a growing acceptance that the format is the only way the game can expand beyond its current stagnation in former British colonies.According to a press release, the jersey will feature the signature blue colour as usual with a new collar that has clear Asian influences. Four-way stretch pants feature articulated patterning on the knee section to withstand aggressive play.Bold, with a contemporary striped motif, the kits express the excitement and responsibility the players feel when representing their country.
India women's cricket team skipper Mithali Raj said that wearing a national jersey changes the meaning at every stage. "At every stage, the meaning of wearing India jersey changes," explains Mithali Raj.The International Cricket Council (ICC) last month received a status report on its ongoing dialogue over the game's possible inclusion at Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Like rugby sevens before it, there seems little doubt that cricket's best hope of being given a place at such international multi-sport events is to push the shorter form of the game.

If someone who has translated talent into performance, it is Hardik Pandya. He showed just what he is capable of the last time India played Bangladesh. Though he has had a couple of lean matches since, he is someone who will always be a danger in the late overs. Given his exploits with the ball, he is a man brimming with confidence. Bangladeshi bowlers will have to get their line and length right and not let Pandya free his arms.

\Though the Pakistani openers were going all guns blazing, the pitch offered very little to the Sri Lankan bowlers. However, the opener between India and Bangladesh appeared a different ball game altogether. Other than Rohit Sharma, no other top-order batsman could find his feet. It was a rare sight to see the bowlers dominate the batsmen in a T20 game. The pitch that made the bowlers look immaculate with sheer swing and pace seems like a featherbed for the batsman now.

India have looked unbeatable in the Asia Cup so far, but Bangladesh, their opponent in the final, are no pushovers. Mustafizur had gone wicket-less for 40 runs in four overs in the Asia Cup opener against India. The Indian batsmen did not have much of a problem reading his cutters and slower deliveries. But Mashrafe defended his pace ace, saying his deliveries did not grip due to dew and rain.
But the left-arm seamer was back to his elements on Friday. In his first over, the 20-year old held on to a superb return catch. But the third umpire said not out after replays showed the ball had grazed the ground during Mustafizur’s follow through after he dived.  #asia cup 2016 #bangladesh #cricket #mahmudullah #mashrafe mortazaAsia Cup: Mashrafe heaps praise on Mustafizur, Mahmudullah

He kept the sinking ship afloat with a gritty 36 not out, off 27 deliveries, and pushed Bangladesh’s total to a modest 133 for 8 with some late fireworks.Later he picked up two wickets for just five runs in two overs that helped Bangladesh seal a convincing 51—run win. He also took a spectacular catch at point.
“(Mahmudullah) Riyad knows what his role is. He has to bat under pressure most of the time. He has to play with a lot of responsibility especially when the top order does not get runs. He faces a lot of criticism if he can’t give his best,” Mashrafe said.
Mahmudullah coped with the pressure successfully against qualifiers UAE.
“Riyad played a very good innings. It was very important for the team. He is bowling well too nowadays. It will be very good for us if he can keep it up,” said the skipper.Mashrafe also sang Mahmudullah's praises after the all-rounder's match-winning show against the UAE.

he Tigers have been a formidable force at home, but their batting has been below par in fast bowling assistance pitch in Dhaka. Same can be said about the batting of the Lankans, who looked ordinary against UAE. Both sides have a good bowling unit and the battle will focus on that section given their underlying strengths.

This will be a big test for supremacy and the hosts will need a victory in order to keep their chances alive to go far.
Live Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka

Bangladesh are a strong team at home, and can defeat any team on their day. However, they have not played the quality of cricket they are known for at home in the ongoing Asia Cup. Bangladesh need to up their game Sunday as they prepare to face Sri Lanka at Shere Bangla National Stadium.

The home team might heave a sigh of relief as Sri Lanka, like Bangladesh, have not played great cricket in the tournament either. The Lankan Lions had to give it their all against the UAE in their opening game to emerge triumphant. Sri Lanka defeated the UAE by 14 runs.Four games into the Asia Cup 2016 and we are yet to see the big-hitters take the centre stage. This Twenty20 tournament has been a far cry from the norm in the format - not that it has failed to produce compelling cricket. One could even stretch the argument further to perhaps point out that this tournament has given the format itself a different colour. The primary reason for this has been the pitches produced. With more than a tinge of green on all the surfaces so far, teams will be revisiting their playing XI and even strategies to counter this factor.

Live Cricket Streaming India vs Pakistan T20 Asia Cup 2016, Live Cricket Streaming India vs Pakistan T20 Asia Cup 2016.The pitches so far have been uncharacteristic in nature and not the typical Bangladeshi wickets. It has hardly assisted the spinners, which has been India’s strength. They have produced enough bounce and the batsmen have found it difficult to get away when the ball is pitched on right areas.

T20 Asia Cup 2016

Surprisingly, all the three games of the tournament played so far didn’t see any big score barring the Indian innings. Wickets kept tumbling and fast bowling has been the key behind every successful team.
Pakistan’s pace battery hails of Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad Sami. It is likely that they would play the likes of Riaz, Irfan and Aamer in the playing XI for their first game of the tournament against India. These names wear a fearsome look on paper and inspire confidence on the field. Though the troika of these three are left-arm pacers but all of them are different bowlers.India were playing Pakistan in the Asia cup 2010 when this thrilling encounter took place. India were given a target of 268 runs in 50 overs by the Pakistan team. The chase looked was on track as Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni scored individual half centuries. An exchange of words was witnessed between Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar in the penultimate over of the innings and the real action took place in the final over.  Mohammad Amir was given the ball in the last over and Suresh Raina was soon dismissed. Eventually India required 3 runs off 2 balls. Harbhajan Singh was on strike and the off-spinner clinched victory for India by smashing a six off the second last ball of Aamir.Riaz has led the Pakistan’s pace battery with unparalleled confidence in the recent times and has enhanced as a bowler. He looks astute and adapted to the conditions in order to meet the requirements of such format. He was instrumental for his side Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) where he had 15 scalps to his name in nine outings at a confounding average of 16.33 and decent economy of 7.13.
His forte is control and ability to move the ball both ways especially away from the right-hander. Riaz’s is also one of the best short ball bowlers of the game and if there is any help in the wicket he will be the man for Pakistan to get it exploited.India have a hundred percent record of wins against Pakistan in World cup matches and this was the second time India were up against Pakistan in the biggest tournament. India rode on Navjot Singh Sidhu’s 93 to set a target of 288 runs against Pakistan. The measure part of this match was the clash between Aamir Sohail and Venkatesh Prasad. Sohail smashed a boundary off Prasad and pointed him to get the ball. In reply, Prasad clean bowled Aamir on the very next delivery. As is is said, ‘Its was a perfect reply’. India went on to register their second consecutive win in the World cup matches by 39 runs.

Both the nations are up on their feet and all set to witness the captivating encounter between arch-rivals India and Pakistan.

Asia Cup Cricket

As Twenty20 (T20) is acknowledged as a batsman’s game yet there are certain bowlers who prove their worth in gold with their immaculate bowling. The three matches played so far in the Asia Cup witnessed green top pitches and have assisted the pace bowlers massively. This means a team’s success will highly depend on how their bowlers fare. Suraj Choudhari introspects the bowling attack of both the sides and suggests Pakistan’s armour looks more dreadful. The final match of the inaugural World T20 took place between India and Pakistan at Johannesburg. This was the second time that the two teams were meeting each other in the same tournament but this time it was the final. India batted first and scored a decent 157 in their allotted 20 overs, courtesy Gautam Gambhir’s half century. In reply Pakistan were left tottering on 77 for 6 before Misbah-ul-Haq put the innings back on track. He along with the tailenders took the match into the final over where they required 13 runs off 6 balls. Surprisingly, Joginder Sharma was handed over the ball to conclude the proceedings. His first ball went for a wide and the next one was dispatched for a six. Pakistan were now left with 6 runs to score in 4 balls but Misbah attempted a cheeky shot which was miscued to Sreesanth at short fine-leg. India won the final by 5 runs.

As well as whitewashing Australia 3-0 Down Under and beating Sri Lanka 2-1 last month, India began the 13th Asia Cup with a comprehensive victory over hosts Bangladesh on Wednesday. Sharma was the star of the 45-run victory, scoring a crucial 83 after India were put into bat. The score took Sharma’s average over his last nine T20 innings to above 45. Having come in for criticism in the past, the 28-year-old explained that the support of those around him has been key to his recent record. Still, he was reluctant to look back, or too forward, with such a big game upcoming“Any individual knows that he has the backing of the team, that's when he opens up and expresses himself better—gets the performance going,” he said, reports Indian news agency PTI. “For us also, we have been playing with the squad for a while which shows that we have a good bunch, which is ready to take up the challenge at any given point of time. That's a good sign and we are very proud of that.
“It's a good sign going to the World T20. But we have three more games to go and the focus now is on against the game versus Pakistan.”Due to a breakdown in relations, Saturday’s showdown will be just the fourth meeting between India and Pakistan in nearly three years. Yet it will also be the precursor to another meeting, as soon as next month, in the World Twenty20, taking place in India.
As well as having designs on winning a third Asia Cup, Pakistan will be keen just to start finding some form. They have lost five of their last six Twenty20 internationals, the last two of them by emphatic scorelines to New Zealand. Their record historically against India in the 20-over format is also poor, with India having won five of the six matches.

Pakistan vs India Asia Cup 2016 T20 Live Streaming and Live Score

Pakistan vs India Asia Cup 2016 T20 Live Streaming and Live Score, Pakistan vs India Asia Cup 2016 T20 Live Streaming and Live Score.India are a far better T20 team than Pakistan even though they have a good bowling attack. Pakistan were good in 1980's but in last 15 years, India have been too good in all formats," Kapil told Aaj Tak in an exclusive interview.

India have won six of their seven T20s this year and have won five of their six T20s against Pakistan since 2007.Kapil agreed with Waqar Younis that Pakistan might have an advantage as India are not very familiar with some of their new players. However, the former India skipper said that the inexperience in the Pakistani ranks could be their downfall.Form and history are also on India's side. India have met Pakistan six times in the shortest format where the Men in Blue have defeated their neighbours five times, including the 2007 World T20 final in Johannesburg which India won by five runs in the last over.
The two teams last met in T20I at the same ground in the 2014 World Twenty20, where India won by seven wickets.
With back-to-back T20 series victories against Australia and Sri Lanka, India are in superb form and can beat any team on a given day. The five-time Asia Cup winners are also the No. 1 in T20I rankings.
For India, there hasn't been much scope for experiments in the playing XI with the same set of players churning out 6 wins in the last seven matches.
In-form openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are expected to give India the early momentum, followed by a flamboyant No. 3 Virat Kohli. But both Dhawan and Kohli failed to deliver in the opening match against Bangladesh, so will like to make amends against Pakistan.Over the years, Kohli has developed into a nemesis for Pakistan and has been a match-winner on more than one occasion.
The presence of experienced Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, hard-hitting newcomer Hardik Pandya followed by captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni make the Indian batting look indestructible and one that can murder any bowling attack.
But Yuvraj is yet to play an impact innings since returning to India colours. Dhoni faces a similar pressure with the bat in hand. But the inclusion of Pandya has brought the spark India sought before the back-to-back Asia Cup and World T20. Dhoni likes to promote Pandya up the order, and the two times the captain has done so far in Pandya's nascent career, the Baroda man has delivered the goods.
Pandya may appear innocuous delivering the ball, but for Dhoni, even if he can bowl 2 good overs on a T20 game, it makes his job easier. And Pandya has done exactly that, paying his captain's trust back.On field, the Indian team, under Dhoni, is peaking at the right time with all the departments coming together. The emergence of Hardik Pandya as a batting all-rounder, who can bowl seam-up, has lent the side requisite balance that Dhoni had long been craving for.
On paper, Indians are way ahead in each and every department of the game but the beauty of this game is Pakistan’s unpredictability.Over the years, one has been a witness to Pakistan teams hitting the zenith and nadir in a space of few matches.

Asia Cup 2016

India will meet Pakistan for the first time since their comprehensive victory over them at the Adelaide Oval the 2015 World Cup in Mirpur today. While India's batting might is no secret anymore, Pakistan are talking up their bowling strength, especially with the return of Mohammad Amir.

However, Kapil, who was himself a part of some epic battles against Pakistan, said they are not a major threat anymore and added that Pakistan are a declining force in international cricket. All eyes will be on Saturday's mega clash when India and Pakistan take the field at Dhaka's Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium - first time since last year's World Cup match in Australia.
For years, Indo-Pak encounters have attracted thousands of viewers across the globe, making it the biggest blockbuster in the sport. But diplomatic tensions between the two countries have not let them play any bilateral series for more than three years and their rivalry is therefore restricted to multi-national tournaments.
Pakistan will be desperate to send a message by beating India, after the BCCI refused to play a bilateral series last year at a neutral venue.
Whereas, the Indians, on a high after a handsome victory against hosts Bangladesh in the opening match, will look to keep their winning momentum intact.

But as they say, there are no clear favourites between India and Pakistan. It will be a fresh start for both the teams as Pakistan will aim hope to register a win in their first match of the 2016 Asia Cup that is being played in the T20 format for the first time in history. But the most exciting aspect will be whether the tainted Amir gets to play in the XI.

Back after serving a five-year ban for spot-fixing, Amir has started playing for the national team since the tour of New Zealand and this immensely talented bowler will certainly come out all guns blazing against the Indian batsmen.

Virat Kohli has already welcomed Amir’s return but not much is known as to what other Indian players, including skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, think about the convicted spot- fixer’s inclusion.

In terms of preparation, both teams have been suitably prepared considering the amount of Twenty20 cricket they have played in the past one month.

India already kicked off their World T20 preparations in style, having won six out of the seven games played so far.

Pakistan cricketers, on the other hand, are coming straight after playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which keeps them well prepared.

Kapil said given Pakistan's batting strength, India do not have to think of a massive total against them in the Asia Cup T20 encounter in Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla Stadium tonight. When India and Pakistan play each other, the world sits up and takes notice. Such is the magnitude of their unparalleled rivalry which has brewed over time just like a good old wine.

 India vs Pakistan

Two estranged subcontinent neighbours - India and Pakistan - are set to renew cricket's most bitter rivalry after a gap of almost an year when they lock horns in the Asia Cup, a contest for regional supremacy which is also a dress rehearsal for the ICC World Twenty20 next month.World cricket’s most intriguing rivalry will once again be renewed when India take on an unpredictable Pakistan with rehabilitated pacer Mohammed Amir being the focus of attention in a round-robin league encounter of the Asia Cup T20 tournament here on Saturday.

The match will also serve as a pre-cursor to the two teams’ opening round battle in the ICC World Twenty20, next month. The Indo-Pak cricket contests over the years have carried a legacy, not to forget the political undercurrents involved whenever the two bitter neighbours square off on the 22 yards.
