Man of the Match - Imran Tahir. He knew he was down and he wanted to bowl really well. He feels he's strong mentally as he has the backing of his coach and his teammates. He is glad as long as he's doing well for the team. He keeps working hard in the nets and he's ready to bowl anywhere, even in the Powerplay. He feels the reason behind his success is his planning, he sticks to his basics. He believes in himself and backs his skills. Adds this award is for his son.
Faf du Plessis, South African captain says they are out of the jail once again. He feels both the sides played out their best. Adds they didn't start well but credits his bowlers. Says they messed it up in the end but he's lucky they had Chris Morris. He wants to have a solid base first up in the batting line-up. He says you always learn from your mistakes.
Eoin Morgan, England captain is upset with England's batting effort. Credits Ben Stokes and Chris Jordan for their effort. Adds the pitch slowed down as the game progressed and it was difficult to bat on. He thinks they've had a good run in T20Is recently and hopes he comes back hard in the next game. He just wants his side to play more games as it will help them take more responsibilities.England claimed an impressive Test series victory over the world's top-ranked side South Africa this winter but the Proteas responded by coming from 2-0 down to win the one-day international battle in February.
Now attention turns to the T20s in February, which will crucial in both sides' preparation for the forthcoming 2016 World Twenty20 in India.
In the Test series, both sides were looking to bounce back from series defeats in Asia, with England going down 2-0 to Pakistan in the UAE and South Africa beaten 3-0 in India. But it was the tourists who gave their confidence a shot in the arm as they won two of the opening three Tests to clinch the series with a game to spare. South Africa claimed an impressive consolation win in the dead rubber.
In the one-dayers, England's exciting and improving side blasted out of the blocks and looked on course for an easy series victory until South Africa bounced back to win the final three matches for a morale-boosting 3-2 triumph.
