India vs Bangladesh - Asia Cup 2016 - Live Cricket streaming

With the lack of India vs Pakistan clashes in the recent past, it won't be an overstatement to say that the green of India's fiercest rivals (on and off the cricket field) has been replaced to a large extent by the green of Bangladesh Tigers, on the cricket field. When these two sub-continent teams renew their rivalry in Mirpur on Wednesday in the Asia Cup T20, there will no shortage of narrative.

Asia Cup 2016

Bangladesh cricket fans, ever since the perceived injustice of Rohit Sharma's 'non-dismissal' off a no-ball, in the World Cup quarter-final no less, have held a special grudge against India. The outrage was immense, with BCCI's stronghold on the game was alleged as one of the reasons for Bangladesh's ouster from the marquee event.

Fast forward a few months, MS Dhoni's team was sent back home with tails between their legs as young Mustafizur Rehman wreaked havoc to hand India a shock 1-2 defeat. At the end of the series, even Bangladesh media milked the most of defeating their close rivals. The clock is ticking down and Asia Cup is getting nearer. Working as a prelude to the ICC World T20 later, the five team tournament involving hosts Bangladesh, defending champions Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and qualifier UAE will probably act as a tune up to the larger extravaganza in India. But, let’s have a brief look at the things you should keep an eye out for at the Asia Cup which concludes on 6th March. The teams might not accept it openly, but make no mistake, the fans know this is a grudge match.

While Mahendra Singh Dhoni has always stated that "revenge is a very strong word in sport", the Indian team will be keen to get even against a strong Bangladesh side that beat them fair and square in a three-ODI series at the same venue last year under hostile circumstances with a partisan crowd behind them.Taking note of the World T20 right after, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) – the organising body of the Asia Cup – decided to play the tournament based on the World Cup succeeding it. Keeping that in mind, 2016 Asia Cup will be the first tournament to be played in a T20 avatar. All 12 editions of the tournaments before this have been played in 50 over format. As India enter the final phase of their preparations for next month's World Twenty20, a cloud of uncertainty exists over skipper Dhoni's availability which may disturb the side's momentum going into the tournament-opener against Bangladesh.

India vs Bang Asia Cup | Cricket news, live scores, fixtures, features Live streaming."If I say something one month or 15 days back, the answer does not change. It's irrespective of where I'm asking. The answer remains the same. It's as simple as what is your name and I will say MS Dhoni."It will remain the same for a considerable period of time unless you give me a new format," Dhoni told reporters.

Even yesterday, he made it clear that he was not retiring from international cricket anytime soon.
A visibly perturbed Dhoni then advised the media to "judge" properly before asking all types of irrelevant questions."There will be questions, you send me letters or requisitions. If you have the freedom, it's not right to ask all types of questions. It's very important to judge everything as to what needs to be done, why it needs to be done. Because somebody has the platform to ask questions, it does not mean that you keep on asking the same questions. It's a world today where everything is covered by media," he implored.
Besides the 34-year-old also said that media should practice restraint, but admitted that he "cannot really stop people from asking the questions"."Anything happens questions are raised in India. If we win the World T20 very comfortably, than questions will be asked whether we have peaked too early. If we lose the final, then we will be asked whether we will be able to take the pressure of a final.
"If we don't qualify then there will be questions whether we're good enough to handle pressure at home. I don't think I cannot really stop people from asking the questions. If better questions are raised, I will answer 100 per cent for sure," Dhoni added.

After his retirement from Test last December, Dhoni has been subjected to unwarranted, nagging questions when will he call time on cricket.Anger and MS Dhoni are as poles apart as the north and south. Even in the most extreme of circumstances – on or off the field – India's limited-overs skipper has little difficulty in maintaining his composure. He's Captain Cool for a reason.
But the man from Ranchi has started to show signs of deviating from his norm. Dhoni's retirement has been a subject of immense speculation ever since he hung up his boots in the longest format of the game in December 2014. India's below-par show in the limited-overs format after the 2015 ICC World Cup Down Under only added fuel to the fire. When he is at the crease, Mahendra Singh Dhoni mostly plays with a horizontal bat to throw rival bowlers off their line and length. However, when he is behind the microphone, fielding questions from the media, India's most decorated limited-overs captain prefers to present a straight bat. True to his style, Dhoni was pretty straightforward in summing up the team's objectives before departing for Dhaka to take part in the Asia Cup that gets underway on Wednesday.
Asked whether India will use the Asia Cup -to be played in T20 format for the first time -as a dress rehearsal for the ICC World T20 that follows, Dhoni said: "Our objective will be to win matches. At the same time it is important to give everyone a chance to play so that they have a few games under the belt before the World T20."The 13th edition of the Asia Cup will feature Asia's top four -India, Pakiatan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh -and a qualifier (yet to be identified). The five teams will play against one another in a classical league format with the top two finishers contesting the final.
"The format of the Asia Cup is such that we can give all 15 players in our squad a game or two even as we look to win the tournament. Apart from the Asia Cup, we will have two warm-up matches to get ready for the World T20," Dhoni opined. The Indian skipper justified the inclusion of pacer Mohammad Shami in the squads for both Asia Cup and World T20 despite a question mark over his return to full fitness.
